In the delivery of our adult skills budget, Kendal College works in partnership with Cidori. For more than 3 years we have enjoyed a productive collaboration as we help candidates into sustainable employment, providing them with the training, skills, and self-confidence they need. We believe that our teaching and learning delivery, together with Cidori’s employer engagement and support of candidates into work represents a powerful combination that enables us not only to deliver our AEB budget effectively but make a real difference to the lives of our learners – many of whom we would never reach ourselves.”

GROWING TOGETHER

If you control an adult education budget the video below is worth 20 minutes of your time. See why David Lord – National Chair at BACH British Association of Construction Heads and Head of Construction & Engineering at Burnley College summarises our support for FE colleges as “massive” and why he believes “something’s right in the recipe” with our partnership approach to successful adult education.

Working in partnership our intent is to develop and deliver learning that meets the needs of local, regional, and national employers.

Working together we have implemented learning content that reflects employers and learners needs and is delivered using our own in-house learning platform ‘My Learning Portal’ – see below for details.

The impact of this is shown in high qualification success rates with overall achievement above 90% and 65% of those who complete learning gaining a meaningful outcome (data supplied by partners).

“ We have now been using MLP as an online platform for our AEB delivery for a year. We love the transparency it gives us both from an operational perspective; we can see immediately how engaged learners are, and the data drives registrations and supports tutors with access to enrolment and IA. From a quality point of view, both IQA and EQA have full access which is improving the level of feedback and assessment for learners to use to inform their achievement.”
