Altro has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to apprenticeships
Cidori client Altro has been awarded Medium Apprenticeship Employer of the Year at the 2025 National Apprenticeship Week Awards.
Since welcoming their first cohort in 2022, Altro has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to apprenticeships. They create a supportive, flexible environment where learners feel valued from day one – reflected in the exceptional outcomes their apprentices consistently achieve.
Altro’s long-term investment in skills development is clear. Numerous Lean Manufacturing learners have progressed into higher-level and Team Leader roles, with LMO and IP4 qualifications embedded as key drivers of future manufacturing performance, efficiency, and waste reduction. Each cohort’s achievements are celebrated alongside the Senior Management Team, reinforcing the importance of apprenticeship success across the organisation.
Special recognition goes to Nick Waldock (seen above far right, with Cidori delivery partner Barnet Southgate College tutor Tony Starmer far left) whose calm, encouraging mentorship has played a significant role in building confidence, capability, and independence amongst the team at Altro.
