Back Story
Louisa (pictured right) was unemployed and explained to her local JCP work coach that she wanted to go into a teaching assistant position. Louisa was enrolled by Cidori onto a 4 week online Teaching Assistant course, delivered by Barnet and Southgate College – the training she had previously wasn’t enough to get her into employment – she didn’t want a long course and when her work coach mentioned this opportunity she was delighted.
“My college tutor Santa was amazing – I’d been to sixth form & college but had never received support like this – help with mock interview, updating CV and developing transferable skills. This led me to getting a job at my first interview at a local SEND school. Qualifications: Like all our TA candidates, Louisa has come away with her NCFE Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools & Colleges.
