It’s been a fantastic season for the Cidori-sponsored Under-11s team, Forefield Rangers Blues, who are celebrating an impressive run in their junior football league.
Despite the Premier League proving a step too far this year, the team regrouped and competed in the Championship, going unbeaten throughout the season and finishing in an impressive second place — narrowly missing out on the title on the final day to a strong and deserving opponent.
The team’s progress both on and off the field has been clear to see, with every player showing significant development throughout the year.
To mark the end of the season, an awards presentation—sponsored by Cidori—was held on Sunday, June 1st. Marine FC Player-Manager Bobby Grant was on hand to present each player with a trophy in recognition of their efforts.
Special awards were presented to:
- Lucas & Thomas – Parents’ Players of the Year
- Callum – Players’ Player of the Year
- Ralph – Most Improved Player
- Haz & Charlie – Managers’ Players of the Year
- Haz – Top Goal Scorer, netting 28 goals this season and hitting an incredible 50-goal milestone for the club!
The team has already begun training for the upcoming 2025/26 season, where they will move up to the Under-12s category. With Cidori continuing their valued sponsorship, the club looks forward to another exciting year ahead.
